Our Newest Fotographer Is L. Randall, From Virginia

Below, she will tell us a bit about herself, and her fotography:

My name is Linda, I have a store at Zazzle called Observation Creations. I was born and raised in New York, now residing in rural Virginia. My father was a photo journalist in his younger years and he's been a great inspiration to me. I received my first camera when I was around 8 years old and have been in love with photography ever since. I made the change to digital photography about 6 years ago and although I was leery about it at first, I love it and now only shoot in digital. My main camera is a Nikon, I feel there is no comparison to the quality of a Nikon lens. Nature and landscape photography are my main areas of interest, I also love pet photography and will occasionally do portraits.
Recently I have been learning more about graphic artistry and digital manipulation. I am enjoying playing around with my photos and creating "new" things with them. Although I admit my taste in manipulation may be a bit odd to some. I hope there are some that will enjoy my edited photos as well as the ones that are left to their own natural beauty, of course.
Photography is my passion. Mostly I enjoy shooting nature, wildlife and abandoned places. Trying to capture the beauty of things we often observe everyday, but don't always take the time to notice.

Our Newest Fotographer is Paula, from Saline, MI

Below she will tell us a bit about herself, and her Photography:

I started in photography with my deceased brothers Nikon FG camera around 1990. My husband and I were going to Hawaii on our honeymoon and I wanted to have nice photos. The FG is a manual camera and I had to take it to a camera store and get someone to show me how to use it. I used the FG until about 2007 when I switched to digital an purchased a Fuji S5200 which I still use today. I especially enjoy travel photography and photographing my beautiful peony flowers that I grow.

Our Latest Fotographer is Gill, (Rural France) From: Limousin, France

Below, she will tell us about herself and her fotography:

I've been a photographer for many years, but only recently discovered "print on demand" via Zazzle. Since moving to France, my interest in photography has been renewed, and the hard winters have given me time to go through my large collection of 35mm transparencies and to copy a select few.
I'm a keen photographer, ex-graphic artist, gardener and love all things natural and wild. I have a few animals of my own – horses, chickens, goats – some of which you will find in these pages. Although British, I have lived in this beautiful part of France for eight years, and love the countryside, the people, and slow pace of life.

I enjoy, photographing animals, flowers, landscapes and anything that moves or doesn't move.

Our Newest Fotographer is Liora Hess From Atlanta, GA

This is a first for our blogs (Fly-Fotos and Fly-Designers). The featured Fotographer and Designer are the same person, and Liora is featured in both Blogs today.  Below she will tell us a bit about herself and her work (do check out Fly-Designers to see her creativity there as well) :

I'm an artist living in Atlanta with my black-and-white tuxedo cat (look for him in my artwork!). I'm Jewish and a breast cancer survivor (diagnosed just after turning 39). Currently my creative work is my "second living," but I'm working toward making it my primary income. I can't imagine ever wanting to retire from creating art!

I enjoy creating art with bold, clear colors, folk and whimsical themes, and art that uplifts with a message of hope and healing. Art to me is about the love of freedom to create anything and splash a blank canvas with whatever story I want to tell. I enjoy art that is clear and not fussy, but with a quirky edge -- which is who I am. I have two stores here on Zazzle: liorahess and greenbirdcreative. You'll see some overlap in art on both sites, but this store (liorahess) is the one I'm primarily building. I plan to fill it with mostly illustration, but a few photographs thrown in for fun.

Below are a few of her fotographs with links to her Zazzle Store, and to the individual products there:

Our Latest Fotographer Is Jasmine From Metro Detroit

Below she will tell us a bit about herself, and her fotography:

My name is Jasmine and I'm from the metro Detroit area of Michigan. I've loved photography ever since I was young. I played around with some disposable cameras, but never took it seriously at that age. I had always enjoyed looking at photos from other people. I received my first digital camera as a gift from my boyfriend, who is now my fiance, in 2006 when I was 16 years old. I played around with that for fun, but didn't get into selling my photos until 2008 after I bought my second digital, a Kodak Z885, which I have been using since. The only place I've ever sold my photography at was Zazzle and I have been with them since the beginning of 2008. The main thing I photograph is nature. I like to shoot my photos as natural as possible. I don't set scenes up, and editing is rare. I just really enjoy capturing existing beauty. My next goal is to save up for a basic DSLR and teach myself how to use that.  I also enjoy fishing, when I can, movies and music.

Our Newest Photographer Is Chris Cafferkey,From: Loughbrough, United Kingdom

Below she will tell us a bit about herself, and her fotography:

I'm a photographer with a passion for nature and wildlife, but interested in other forms of photography as well. I love designing these products, and hope you like my store.
The fire art is very special. The photos are of a man using kevlar rope which is dipped in paraffin and set alight, then whirled around while I take long exposure shots. You won't find these anywhere else! If you know someone who loves fire these are the gifts for you.
You can mix and match products, and if designing your room, think about matching your office mug, mouse mat, and even ipad case. Interior designing could take on a whole new look! Check out the various departments for matching products, but if you see a design you want and can't find the product just contact me and I'll see what I can do for you.
All my designs are based on my own photography. I use them sometimes as they are, but others are digitally manipulated to produce original art I hope you love!
You can customize any of my designs to suit your needs. Change or add text, change the picture, it's up to you how you want your product to look. If you're happy with my design, ordering couldn't be easier. Discounts are available for multiple orders. Please enjoy looking around my store and tell all your friends about where they can get a unique gift for themselves.

Our Newest Photographer Is Steve Crompton From: Staffordshire, United Kingdom

A bit about himself and his work, along with clickable fotos below, that will link to products on his Zazzle Store:

I've been a 'serious' photographer now for over 30 years, and in that time I've owned and/or used all sorts of equipment from 35mm to 5"x4" format. Now I use Canon digital SLR's almost exclusively, although many of the images I use in my Zazzle products were shot on film as long ago as 1979. Digital is responsible even for the film shots being in my store - thanks to a film scanner.
Favourite subjects to photograph are probably anything in nature; stormy skies, landscapes and the creatures which inhabit those landscapes. Having said that though, I'll photograph pretty much anything which I think will make a good image.
I like to do as much as possible 'in camera' when taking photographs, however because I shoot in RAW and don't use any auto adjustments, styles etc. the images tend to look extremely bland on first viewing; they then need to be processed to get them to match what I was seeing and thinking when I pressed the shutter button. Some images can be very difficult when it comes to the processing stage, it's almost as though the image you want to finish up with is trapped inside the one you're looking at - you've just got to figure out how to release it.
The image processing part is largely no different than how it was in the darkroom, except we can now do things which we could only really dream of in a darkroom - and without all the mess and those expensive wasted prints.

Today, Our Newest Fotographer Is MLeWallpapers

Below, they will describe their work, followed by "Clickable Fotos", that will take you to their Zazzle Store:

At MLeWallpapers.com we're a husband and wife team that started out just wanting to share our photography with the world. I (Emily) consider myself the creative director - I take most of the pictures and pick out which ones we're going to use for the website and for products.

My philosophy about photography isn't about the perfect camera and lens - it's about capturing the beauty of nature as you see it. I like to take a nice portable camera on hikes. We do a lot of traveling, mostly to national parks and other scenic places, and I just can't keep from taking pictures!I like to "shoot quick" and then adjust the fotos later, if need be.  Panasonic is the camera that I currently use.

Our Newest Photographer Is Mike Of Mountain View, California

Below he will tell us about his work, and following will be some of his Fotos, that you can click on to go to his Zazzle Store to see the actual products:

I stuck a toe in the water in 2007 when I bought a nice P&S digital camera. I soon caught the bug, and upgraded to a full DSLR setup 1.5 years later.

I enjoy the ability to use the camera capture and enhance something of visual interest, like a sunrise or a bird in flight. Recently I've started experimenting with HDR processing for even more control over the images I take.

Last year I started a zazzle store to show off my images.
